The Bureau of Courts is part of the Parliament of Law.
The Bureau of Courts is a bureau of the Parliament of Law responsible for administering Vekllei’s court system. It is an administrative functionary of the permanent civil service and does not exercise judicial authority, which remains in processes seperate from the bureau. It primarily provides court buildings, case management systems, court staff, interpreting services, scheduling and the logistics of the circuit court system that serves Vekllei’s more remote republics.
The circuit court system is the bureau’s most visible administrative function. Many of Vekllei’s smaller island municipalities cannot sustain a permanent court establishment, so travelling judges and court staff rotate through regular circuits, carrying portable systems and liaising with local police.
