Commonwealth Public Press

The Commonwealth Public Press is a constituent organisation of the Ministry of the Commonwealth.

The Commonwealth Public Press is the government publishing service of Vekllei, producing technical, administrative and public-interest materials for the ministries and Commonwealth Parliaments. It operates as a shared publishing resource rather than a commercial entity – its primary clients are other government bodies, though some publications are made available to the public.

The press operates through two functional divisions aligned with its two main clients:

  • Standards Press of Vekllei: The publishing arm of the Bureau of Standards, producing technical manuals, standards compilation books, design guidelines and industrial bulletins. It is the authoritative publisher of Commonwealth visual and procedural standards documentation.
  • Statistics Press of Vekllei: The publishing arm of the Bureau of Statistics, responsible for printed editions of the Vekllei Census, the annual statistical yearbook and ministerial statistical reports. It also publishes a small commercial list of reference books made available to the public.
