Anselm Chror, Secretary for the Air India Reprisals. He was appointed head of the Retaliatory Interwork Detachment in late 2063 and was ultimately the mastermind of Operation Flashing Sword. Anselm was well-suited to the role because of his sources in the embargoed smuggling ratlines. Like many Noshem directors, he was also an unflinching peripheralist and had no belief in sovereignty or the dialogue of nations.
He is pictured with Section 14’s flag, and lives in the republic of Annobon. His actual ethnic background is ambiguous. ‘Anselm’ may not be his original name, and the Section staff’s best guess is that he was born to a Boer-German family in Namibia, which he seems to know well.
