Vekllei is a highly technological society, and has lead research into breakthroughs in many industries. Compared to our world, their technology is both more and less advanced. They excel in industrial computing, material sciences and chemistry, but lag behind the miniaturisation of electronics because they use optical, rather than silicon, circuits.
